    Overview

What Companion Care looks like with us

Companion care is non-medical. A companion visits on a regular schedule to talk, share a meal, work on a hobby, tidy up, run errands, or ride along to an appointment. Companions do not provide hands-on personal care such as bathing or transfers, and they do not perform clinical tasks — when those are needed, personal care or skilled nursing can be added from the same agency, so the schedule and contacts stay in one place.

    What to expect

    1. 1We start with a conversation about interests, routines, and what the visits should cover.
    2. 2Companions are background-checked and supervised by our care management team.
    3. 3Visits are scheduled around your life, from a single weekly visit to daily multi-hour stays.
    4. 4If hands-on or clinical needs arise, personal care or skilled nursing can be added to the same plan.
